The mission of CRY (Child Rights and You) is to help people take responsibility for the situation of the deprived Indian child. People will be motivated to work collectively to give the child and themselves an opportunity to realize their full potential.

CRY’s vision is a secular, non-violent movement of people for the rights of India’s children in various segments. Each person will make the most of their particular asset and capability working as a group for the common good.

CRY was born in 1979, when seven people (led by 25 year old Rippan Kapur) came together. Each believed that they could make a difference in a child’s life.
